National Bureau of Statistics: Furniture retail sales increased by 6.3% in July 2019.

On August 14, the National Bureau of Statistics released statistical data. In July 2019, the total retail sales of social consumer goods

increased by 7.6% in nominal terms over the same period of last year (excluding the real increase of 5.7% in price factors, except for

special instructions). Furniture retail sales amounted to 16.3 billion yuan, an increase of 6.3% over the same period last year.

From January to July 2019, the total retail sales of social consumer goods amounted to 228.283 billion yuan, an increase of 8.3% over the same period last year. Furniture retail sales amounted to 106.2 billion yuan, an increase of 5.8% over the same period last year.
